Pansy I. Shrum

	Pansy I. Shrum, age 87, of Pinckneyville, died at her home on Sunday, February 24, 2002 at 11:12 a.m.
	Pansy was born in Eminence, Mo. on December 27, 1914, the daughter of William Charles Burns and Hetta Pearl (Richardson) Burns.  She married Francis Claude Shrum on December 16, 1931 in Centerville, Mo. and he preceded her in death on January 19, 1982.  Pansy was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Rice.
	Survivors include two sons, William L. Shrum of Cordova and Ronald T. Shrum of Pinckneyville, three daughters, Frances Wright, Claudett Hart and Kay Tucker, all of Pinckneyville, two sisters, Opal Vineyard of Ellington, Mo. and Hazel Spurgeon of Brighton, Ill., 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
	She was preceded in death by her husband, three children, Franklin C. Shrum, Gerald D. Shrum and Evelyn F. Wisdom, a granddaughter, Annette L. Shrum, four brothers, one sister and one half-sister.
	Funeral services were held at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Wednesday, February 27 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dee Speer officiating.  Interment was in Concord Cemetery in Rice.
	Visitation was held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
	Memorials may be made to the Concord Cemetery Association.
